Sacha Dhawan

According to Sacha's CV (link below), he is 5 foot 7 inches in height, he has black hair, brown eyes, and training at the Laine-Johnson Theatre School (in Manchester).  I'm assuming that his natural accent is Northern, but he can also do Indian and Standard American when required!

Before Weirdsister College he played Leo Nixon in "The Last Train" in 1999, a drama sci-fi production.  From '97-'99 he played one of the lead characters, Ali Patanjali, in "Out of Sight II and III," a children's comedy series.  He has also had parts in "Altogether Now" and "City Central."  Post-WSC, he had a part in "Perfectly Frank," an Eastenders "spinoff" in 2003 about the notorious Frank Butcher.  Sacha played DV Wayne Atkins.

He has been in four plays: "Borstal Boy," "East is East," "The Witches" and most recently "The History Boys."  "The History Boys" is a play by Alan Bennett about a group of A-Level students in search of a place at a prestigious university as well as trying to enjoy their youth.  At the time of writing this (July 2004), "The History Boys" is actually playing at the Albemarle Theatre in London and will be doing so until September!
