Charmian May was born on the 16th June 1937 and had many different TV parts over the course of 30 years in her profession.  Sadly, Charmian May died on the 24th October 2002, in Hampshire, aged just 65.  Her last roles were in Weirdsister College, and in the hit film Bridget Jones' Diary.  As sad as it is that Weirdsister will not be coming back for a another series, I don't think anyone could play Professor Thunderblast any better than she did.
