I came across the following demo review in this month's Indigo Flow Fanzine. Thought someone, somewhere might be interested... (Note from JM: We are!!)

Monster Bobby, or Bobby Barry, is a 22 year old musician from Brighton. He spent his formative years fronting punk pop band Ice Nine and can now be found in the line-up of The Temperance Seven. He has also performed on recordings by The Tenderfoot and The Electric Soft Parade. Being Monster Bobby he manages to satisfy his interest in electronic and avant garde music. Performing with bassist Tom White and drummer Marc Beatty he has created a sound that fills that gap between Blur and Aphex Twin.

Proving that you can sound different without losing grip on popular appeal is a difficult thing in these pre-packed times but I think this guy may just have managed it. (AM)
