Parents: Alain Gelinas (b. 8.August.1944) and Yuki Solange Rioux (b. somewhere towards
1949), married on 15th November 1969, Montreal.
Grandparents: (This is the interesting bit). Grandfather: Gratien Gelinas,
born 8.December.1909, St-Tite County Champlain- Prov.. Quebec, Canada, died 16.March.1999, Oka, Quebec, Canada.
And was such a famous actor and playright that he was buried on 19.March.1999, in Montreal Cathedral.
Lucky him. He had 7 children with first wife Simone Lalonde (who he married on July 13th 1935 in Montreal). His
children are called (in order): Sylvie, Michel, Alain (Abeille's dad), Yves, Pierre, Pascal and Claude. I don't
know what happened to his first wife, but he married again - Huguette Oligny on January 26th, 1973 in Montreal (these
actor types never can settle for marrying only once, can they?).
So, there you have Abeille's family tree. I could trace it even further back (thanks to Google) if I wanted, but
it isn't necessary. I think that's all you need to know. (And hopefully this is the first site to have Abeille's
family tree!!)
