Jenny Galloway has been in many notable roles, both in TV and film, but her best wrok seems to have been in
theatre.
In 1992 she was award a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Supporting Role in a Musical, for her performance
in "The Boys from Syracuse." She was awarded another Laurence Oliver award in 2000 for Best Supporting Performance for
her role in "Mamma Mia!" at the Prince Edward Theatre. Jenny was also nominated for a 2003 award in the same category
as before, for her role in "My One and Only" at the Picadilly Theatre.
However I remember her best as Harriet Davenport in "Grange Hill." After Weirdsister College she reappeared
as this character, as well as having parts in the hit Brit films "About a Boy" and "Johnny English."
