Stephanie Lane's first acting job was in one episode of "The Worst Witch" playing the thoroughly dislikable Deirdre Swoop, Head Girl at Pentangles Academy.  Luckily Mildred turned her into a chicken and brought her down a peg or two.  Back in Weirdsister as a much nicer character, she also has a much larger role.

 

Stephanie also appeared in "What a Girl Wants," as Fiona.  I haven't seen this film, however I have heard that it's not great (a bit of rehash of "The Princess Diaries" basic storyline, which satisfies the strange American fascination with British aristocracy).
